  • Tree Permits for Cutting your own Christmas Tree

    Did you know that you can cut down your own Christmas Tree on certain designated Crown Land areas? As long as you get a Personal Forest Use Products Permit or Local Timber Permit you can harvest your own tree from within Alberta's forest areas.

  • Transfer Station Holiday Hours

    Saddle Hills County Transfer Stations will operate amended hours from December 26-28, 2023.

  • Latest Library Board Minutes Available

    The approved minutes from the September 26, 2023, Saddle Hills County Municipal Library Board Meeting
    are now available.

  • Streetlight Upgrades in Woking

    ATCO has advised the County that the streetlights in the Hamlet of Woking will be upgraded to LED lights in the near future. This replacement will provide brighter and longer-lasting lighting to the area.

  • Missing: Fire Pit

    The fire pit at Cotillion Park Campground is missing!

    If whoever is currently in possession of it could kindly return it to the Cotillion Park Campground, that would be greatly appreciated.

  • Old Peace Officer Vehicle for Sale at Auction

    Saddle Hills County has posted a used fleet vehicle for sale via online auction at GovDeals.

  • 2023 Winter IT Equipment Auction

    The County has a variety of used IT equipment available for purchase by sealed bid. The highest bid for each item will be accepted, however the highest bidder of multiple items will have an option to accept any or all of their highest bids.

  • Remembrance Day Transfer Station Hours

    The Bonanza, Blueberry, Gundy, and Woking Transfer Stations will remain open on Saturday, November 11, 2023. Transfer Stations will open at 12 p.m. (Noon) instead of the usual 10 a.m. Bonanza, Blueberry, and Woking Transfer Stations will be open 12-6 p.m. and Gundy Transfer Station will be open 12-4 p.m.

  • East Woking Rural Waterline Construction Begun

    Crews have begun construction on the rural waterline project in East Woking as of October 4, 2023. The project is estimated to last around three months. During this time, you will experience increased activity in the area. Please drive with caution when passing through construction areas and watch out for equipment and workers.
