    It is the responsibility of a landowner to contact the County prior to any proposed work in the County’s rights-of-way. This includes items like approach construction or modifications, new or deepening of existing ditches, brushing, or any other work on developed or undeveloped rights-of-way.

    Spring Wildfires Can Result From Smouldering Winter Burns

    Alberta Wildfire urges anyone doing winter burning to ensure their piles have been fully extinguished. If fires are not properly put out, they can spread and burn underground, even under the snow and ice, all winter.

    County Removes Potable Water Connection Fee

    Saddle Hills County Council announced this week that the County will remove the $10,000 rural potable water connection fee for hooking up to the County’s potable water system and reimburse all the customers who have paid (or are paying) the fee.

  • Woking Firefighters Honour Gerd Cramer

    At their regular meeting night December 7th the Woking Fire Department held a special supper, followed by distribution of their new jackets and milestone pins (5, 10, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40 year pins).
