    Severe floods, chemical releases and wildfires may prompt an evacuation alert or evacuation order to be issued. Preparing in advance can keep you, your loved ones and your pets safe and comfortable if you are required to evacuate your community.

  • 2024 Final Budgets and Audited Statements

    The 2024 Operating and Capital Budgets have been finalized and are now available along with the 2023 Audited Financial Statements. 

  • 2024 Taxes on the Way

    The County will be mailing out the 2023 combined Assessment and Property Tax Notices by May 2, 2024. Taxes are due by July 31, 2024.

    Saddle Hills County has many options for garbage disposal and recycling. Read up on what can and can't go in the collection bins and what to do with your miscellaneous trash.

  • Bonanza Scheduled Water Outage - April 24, 2024

    Please note that there is a scheduled water outage planned for the Bonanza area on Wednesday, April 24, 2024, beginning at 1p.m. 

  • Rural Potable Water Sign-Up

    Residents of Fourth Creek, Gordondale, Happy Valley, Ksituan, Savanna, Silver Valley, and Westmark are invited to sign-up to be connected to the Rural Potable Water Network to have water delivered to their residence.

  • 2024 Student Bursary Applications Open

    The Student Bursary program for 2024 is now accepting applications. 

  • Program and Activity Grant Applications Open - Deadline May 31, 2024

    We are now accepting applications from community groups, clubs, organizations, and schools for Program and Activity Grants.

  • Strong Winds Expected: Stay Alert for Wildfires and Reduce Risks

    The wildfire danger in the Grande Prairie Forest Area is HIGH. Strong and gusty winds are expected today and tomorrow and may increase the risk of wildfires starting. Stay alert for wildfires and reduce the risk of starting one.
