  • New Grant Stream - Cemetery Capital Grant Applications Now Open!

    Saddle Hills County is now accepting applications for the Cemetery Capital Grant Program. This new program is intended to provide funding to cemeteries located within Saddle Hills County for capital projects, such as repairs to existing grounds and facilities or new construction on the grounds.

  • School Zones Are Back: Please Slow Down

    Please note, that students will be returning to schools as of September 3, 2024, and school zones will once again be in place.

    School zones are in effect, Monday to Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

  • Community Volunteers Recognized at Annual Event

    The Annual Volunteer Appreciation BBQ took place on August 22, 2024, at Moonshine Lake Provincial Park, recognizing members of the community for their exceptional work and commitment, as nominated by their peers. 

  • County Receives Award from Alberta School Boards Association

    Saddle Hills County's FCSS Department was honoured to have been nominated for the Alberta School Board Association's Zone One Friends of Education Award, by the Peace Wapiti Public School Division.

  • Alberta Releases Updated Drought Response Plan

    Alberta has released a new, updated Drought Response Plan aimed at helping Albertans better understand and respond to drought conditions in their communities. 

  • Woking Library New Hours

    After a temporary closure, the Woking Library has now re-opened and will be operating new hours as of September 3, 2024.
