If you would like the fenceline along your property sprayed by the County as part of our spraying program you will need to complete a Fenceline Spraying Agreement.

The Chief Provincial Veterinarian, Dr. Keith Lehman, has issued a letter to Alberta Backyard/Small-Flock Poultry Keepers re. Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI).

Maps 1 & 2: Currently snow packs across the province are generally estimated to be near normal (based on the 1961-2022 period) for most areas of the province south of Red Deer and broadly trending to once in 3 to 6 year lows across the southern half of the North East Region and throughout much of North West Region (map 1).

The tentative spray areas for 2023 are Fourth Creek and Blueberry.
