Seasonal cheer abounded at the Christmas in the County event on Wednesday, December 6, 2023. Residents and visitors came from around the region to celebrate the festive season at the County office, with Santa, candy cane hunts, treats, free photograph opportunities, an exhibition, and much more!

A tree hazard risk assessment is a systematic process designed to evaluate the potential dangers associated with trees, ensuring the safety of people and property. Municipalities, property owners, and individuals have a “duty of care” for trees, which includes ensuring their health, safety, and longevity.

In 2021, Saddle Hills County began researching the potential of a Community Health Nurse to help respond to the healthcare needs of rural residents and reduce wait times for things like prescriptions. After much research, the County began the search for a Nurse Practitioner, hiring Palvi Sharma in August of this year.
