  • Spring Newsletter Published

    The Spring 2022 edition of County Living Magazine has been. Residents should recieve it in their mail boxes this week. Hard copies will be delivered to the General Stores or you can pick up a hard copy at the County office.

  • Bonanza School Raises $2,986 For Ukraine

    We had a great turnout for the auction.  The students wanted to do something to help out in some way for the war that is happening in Ukraine. 

  • Support For Ukrainians Arriving In Alberta

    Alberta has a strong connection to the citizens of Ukraine. Many of our families and friends come from this region of Europe and the current situation motivates us to see how we can provide assistance to those who have been displaced and have fled their homeland.

  • 2022 Photo Contest Launched

    It’s time to get your cameras out and clean off the lenses. The 2022 ‘Let’s Be County Proud’ photo contest is here. You need to be a resident of the County to participate but we welcome voters from anywhere to judge.

    CPFTA Graduation

    The Central Peace Fire Training Academy held a graduation ceremony on Saturday, March 26th at the Rycroft AgriPlex, for its four newest recruit Firefighters (shown in center of photo). The recruits attended numerous training nights over the past 16 weeks including a day of live fire training at the training facility in Wanham, to achieve the NFPA 1001 Level 1 training standard.

    2022-2025 Strategic Plan Published

    Every year, Council publishes a Strategic Plan. This plan sets out the guiding principles and long-term goals of Council. The Strategic Plan lets residents to keep track of how their government works, and what changes are planned for the community.

  • County Flies Ukrainian Flag

    Saddle Hills County is flying the Ukrainian flag outside of the County office and at County firehalls in support of the Ukrainian people.
