Waterline Construction in Woking Area
Providing reliable and safe potable water to our residents and businesses is incredibly important to Saddle Hills County. For the past five years we have been developing our rural potable water initiative, providing approximately 150 households and businesses with water. 320km of pipeline have been installed.
Beginning on Monday, January 23, 2023 Saddle Hills County will be installing new pipeline in the Woking Area, to connect residences and businesses to the rural water network (highlighted area). The waterline construction in the area will take approximately 2-3 months. During this time please use caution when driving in the area and be aware of work zones. There will be no interruption to water services during this time.
The County is currently working on obtaining additional easements to expand the rural waterline to the east of Woking, with work expected to commence in 2023.
We would like to thank the community for your patience as we complete these necessary upgrades and look forward to providing a safe and reliable source of potable water for many years to come.
