Saddle Hills County will be holding a by-election for Ward 5 on Monday, November 25, 2024.
An Advance Vote will take place on Monday, November 18, 2024.

Local Jurisdiction: SADDLE HILLS COUNTY, Province of Alberta
Notice is hereby given that Election Day is Monday, November 25, 2024, and that an election for the following offices will be held at the Blueberry Mountain Hall, set out below, between the hours of 10 a.m. and 8 p.m. on Election Day. Voters who are absent or unable to vote on that day, may vote at the advance voting station on November 18, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Residents of Ward 5 will elect one Councillor. The candidate elected to office will serve until the 2025 General Election.
Voter Requirements
In order to vote, you must be a resident of Ward 5 (see map) for at least 6 months prior to Election Day and produce identification for inspection. The identification must include one, or more, of the following:
- Operator/Driver’s license
- Government photo identification card (for non-drivers)
- Bank/credit card statement or personal cheque
- Correspondence issued by a school, college or university
- Government cheque or cheque stub
- Income/property assessment notice
- Insurance policy or coverage card
- Letter from a public curator, public guardian or public trustee
- Pension Plan statement of benefits, contributions or participation
- Residential lease or mortgage statement
- Statements of government benefits: e.g. Employment insurance, old-age security, social assistance, disability support or child tax benefit
- Utility bill: e.g. telephone, public utilities commission, television, hydro, gas or water
- Vehicle ownership registration or insurance certificate
- Attestation of Residence issued by the authorized representative (landlord) of a commercial property management company
- Attestation of Residence issued by the authorized representative of a post-secondary institution
- Attestation of Identity and Residence issued by the authorized representative of shelter or soup kitchen
- Attestation of Identity and Residence issued by the authorized representative of a supportive living facility or treatment centre
