UPDATE: Active Wildfires in Saddle Hills County

As of July 24, 2024, there are now four known active wildfires in Saddle Hills County.
Wildfire GCU009, located in Happy Valley, and Wildfire GCU012, located 300 m south of the Howard Creek and 1 km west of Highway 727, are classified as Being Held and continue to be monitored daily to wet down and check for hotspots.
Wildfire GWF056, located approximately 5 km north of Highway 49, east of Range Road 92, is now classified as Extinguished.
Wildfire GWF058, located approximately 11 km southwest of Gordondale and north of the Cutbank Lake, has changed to Being Held at 0.9 ha.
Wildfire GWF059, located 15 km southeast of Gordondale and north of Ksituan Lake, has changed to Under Control at 0.02 ha.

UPDATE: July 26, 2024 - 12:45 p.m.

There are three additional fires in the Forest Protection Area, south of Gordondale.
Wildfire GWF066 is Being Held at 0.01 ha.
Wildfire GWF070 is Under Control at 0.10 ha.
Wildfire GWF071 is Being Held at 0.05 ha.
