The 'Campdown' is on for Summer
Alberta Parks has introduced a new camping reservation platform to help Albertans and visitors plan their summer adventures.
In the 10-days since the launch of the program, over 11,500 reservations have been made, with almost 36,000 nights booked. Reservations can be made in advance on a rolling 90-day window for individual and backcountry camping and 180 days ahead for group and comfort camping. The new system also offers a 'Camping this Weekend' feature, for those last minutes trips.
Saddle Hills County is the home of the stunning Moonshine Lake Provincial Park, home to stunning views, abundant wildlife, hiking trails, camping, and much more.
Alberta Parks camping reservation fee has been $12 since 2009, and to helps to offset the cost of providing reservations services, including online, call centres, merchant fees, and administrative resources.
There will be a call centre available at 1-877-537-2757, Monday to Sunday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The call centre can also assist with bookings if visitors would prefer not to create an online account.
