Saddle Hills County Health Clinic Opening!

PRESS RELEASE

2024-06-05

Opening of the Saddle Hills County Health Clinic

Saddle Hills County is pleased to announce that the greatly anticipated Saddle Hills County Health Clinic will be opening on June 17, 2024. The clinic is located at the Saddle Hills County Administration Building.

This project has been a long time in the making. From initial conception in 2021 to now, we have been incredibly excited about the opportunity to bring much needed additional healthcare options to rural Alberta and our residents. - Reeve Alvin Hubert

It is hoped that the establishment of the Saddle Hills County Health Clinic will relieve pressure on local Emergency Rooms and provide a local healthcare option for residents who currently don’t have primary care physicians, experience long wait times or travel long distances to seek care.

It is thanks to the hard work of our team and Nurse Practitioner Sharma that we have been able to make this dream a reality and build a facility we believe will serve the community for many years to come. - Reeve Hubert

To mark the opening of the Clinic, Saddle Hills County will be hosting a ‘Meet and Greet’ for the public on June 17, 2024, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. There will be a chance to tour the clinic, ask questions, and meet the driving force behind the clinic, Nurse Practitioner, Palvi Sharma.

Upon commencement of services, the clinic will be open Monday to Thursday, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. to residents or landowners in Saddle Hills County.
The clinic will begin taking bookings on June 17, with a potential first appointment date of Tuesday, June 18, 2024. The phone line will not be operational before this time.

I look forward to meeting all of the wonderful members of the Saddle Hills County community. My ultimate goal in providing care is to help patients have better experiences and outcomes by employing a holistic approach that recognizes the significance of their social and psychological needs. - Nurse Practitioner, Palvi Sharma
