Public Works Week: Celebrate Our Local Heroes

May 19-25, 2024 is Public Works Week. This week, we celebrate the local heroes who keep our County running. 

Public Works employees carry our a whole range of jobs around the County, from maintaining our roads and facilities to treating and monitoring our water, managing our waste, and so much more, they help to create the backbone that we all benefit from.

If you see one of our public works employees out and about this week make sure to let them know you appreciate them! Often unseen, their quiet dedication to their jobs keeps the County thriving. Say hi and let's let them all know we notice how much hard work they put in.
