Have Your Say on Ways to Improve Water Availability in Alberta

Albertans are invited to share their input on ways to increase water availability and improve the water management system in the province.

Population growth, economic growth, and water variability are challenging the water management system in Alberta. The government is looking at ways that new or updated policy or regulatory tools could be used to increase water availability and optimize the water management system to best address these issues, while still continuing to protect the aquatic environment.

To get involved, Albertans are invited to complete the online survey before January 24, 2025.

For those with prior knowledge of the water management system in Alberta, there is a Detailed Survey, as well as a Brief Survey option available for a more general overview.
