Free Working Well Webinar

Saddle Hills County’s Agricultural Services Department is hosting a free Working Well webinar on April 27, 2023 from 6:30-9:30 p.m.

This comprehensive workshop will cover:

• The basics of groundwater and how your well works
• How to protect your well
• Testing your well water
• Operating and maintaining your well
• How and when to shock chlorinate your well
• What to do with old, abandoned wells on your property
• and much more!

Technical expertise will be provided by professionals from Alberta Agriculture and Irrigation, Alberta Environment and Protected Areas, Alberta Health Services, and licensed well water contractors. 

All participants from Saddle Hills County will receive a resource binder with a copy of the presentation slides, all of the Working Well fact sheets, and water well management log sheets. Attendees will also receive a recording of the workshop and links to program resources after the event.
