Free Online Resources for Non-Profits in Alberta
The Government of Alberta has announced that non-profits and charitable organizations will now have one-stop access to grants, funding, and support services to help them learn, organize, manage, and grow.
In 2021, it was identified that Alberta non-profits had difficulty accessing supports and navigating information about services provided by the Alberta government. By creating this new online tool, the Ministry of Arts, Culture, and Status of Women hopes to simplify access and answer some of these navigational difficulties.
Non-profits make a positive difference in the lives of all Albertans. We’re continuing to support the important work they do by launching a new web tool that makes it easier for non-profits to find and access resources. - Tanya Fir, Minister of Arts, Culture and Status of Women
The new online tool includes access to the most commonly used supports that will help non-profits and charities provide more efficient and effective services. These supports include:
- sector information
- non-profit management
- board member and governance training
- grant information and application support
