Farm Crisis Line Launched

The Canadian Centre for Agricultural Wellbeing (CCAW) has announced the launch of the National Farmer Wellness Network (NFWN) Crisis Line - 1-866-FARMS01. Farmers, producers, and those working the agriculture industry can now dial the secure and confidential line to access support at any time, at no-cost. The program is designed to address the unique mental health challenges Canadian farmers and farm families face daily.

Over 1.5 million has been invested in this initiative by Farm Credit Canada (FCC), over the last three years, in hopes to deliver mental health support by licensed professionals to those in need.

Farming is a high-stress and isolating career. Caring for livestock and crops can take a toll on mental health and the National Farmer Crisis Line ensures that farmers receive immediate care during times of need.
