Spring has sprung, which can only mean one thing, our greenhouses are opening! Saddle Hills County is lucky to have many beautiful greenhouses throughout the County, catering to our northern Alberta climate and providing a range of annuals, perennials, fruit, and vegetables, among other things.

Anne's Greenhouse opens May 8, 2023, from 10 a.m. - 8 p.m. every day, 7 days a week, including weekends and holidays.

Available are bedding plants (flowers and vegetables), hanging baskets, perennials, fruit bushes, strawberry roots, and a few new items!

Daisy Hill Home & Garden opens on May 13, 2023, from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. every day (BC time).

Available is a selection of annuals, succulents, hanging baskets, veggies, and a few herbs, as well as some planters and gardening decor.

Find them at 13117 Twp. Rd. 790, Bay Tree, AB.

From Dawson Creek - Instead of going left to the Bay Tree Store, you take a right hand turn, follow the road to the riaght and go all the way to the top of the hill to the last house on the right.

From Spirit River - Instead of going right to the Bay Tree Store you take a left hand turn, follow the road to the right and go all the way to the top of the hill to the last house on the right.

Peace River Petals is a budding nursery and flower farm new to Saddle Hills County. The nursery is in the initial stages of being established with hopes of being open to the public in the near future. Until that time, the owner, Shi Murphy, will make appearances at local farmer's markets where she will offer a wide range of perennials and annuals tailored to our northern climate.
