The recruits attended numerous training nights over the past 16 weeks including a day of live fire training at the training facility in Wanham, to achieve the NFPA 1001 Level 1 training standard. Three of these new recruits have since joined Central Peace Fire Rescue and one has joined Saddle Hills County’s Happy Valley Fire Department. The training program is a joint training initiative between Birch Hills County, CPFRC (Central Peace Fire Rescue Commission), and Saddle Hills County.
