How long have you been doing interior detailing?

We started in May of 2022.

How wide of a geographic area do you serve?

We’ve mostly cleaned vehicles in the Savanna area, but that’s expanding as more people find out about us.

Detailing the interior of a semi must be a big job. What is involved and how much more does it cost than detailing a car or a pickup? 

It costs about $100 more than a pickup or a car. It's a lot of work! We cleaned one semi that was mouse infested and smelled like it too. We have a machine that removes odours without using chemicals, we let that run for a couple of hours first, and then let the semi air out. There's also a lot more surface area to clean. We clean everything out and give it a good vacuum to start with and then we'll clean the ceiling, carpets, and seats. Next, it's the plastics, doors, floor mats, and windows. Then it's time for the final vacuum and putting everything back together. We finish it off with a UV protectant!

You also detail farm vehicles? How different are they from the detailing work on a car or a pickup?

Most of the vehicles we've cleaned have been farm vehicles. We've cleaned one vehicle from Grande Prairie and there wasn't the layer of dust that you get on vehicles from out here!

How easy is it to remove chemical stains? 

There was a pickup we recently cleaned that had some chemical stains on the seats and we got them out with our steamer. 

Say you're like me and you've never kept yout vehicle clean, there are some pretty old coffee, food, mud and other assorted stains in the upholstery and the floor mats. Just how much cleaner can interior detailing make my vehicle? 

We can remove almost all stains with our steamer and our upholstery cleaner! We've got comments multiple times when customers see their vehicle that it looks brand new. One couple said it was cleaner than when they drove it off the lot!

Does interior detailing improve the value of my vehicle?

If you are planning on selling your vehicle, a nice clean interior is going to make a difference. 

How often should I get my vehicle detailed?

At least once a year, to keep up with the accumulation of dirt and grime that builds up with daily use. 

Can detailing actually give me that new car smell?

It always has a clean fresh smell when we are done. 

How long does it take to detail a vehicle? 

Between 6-12 hours depending on the size of the vehicle and how dirty it is. We usually have people drop their vehicles off for 2 days. My husband and I both have other jobs, so we just fit in detailing on my days off.

If I were looking for you in your spare time, where would I be likely to find you?

Doing some sort of home renovation or DIY or working on our yard.
