Be Prepared: We All Have a Role

The 2024 Preparedness Survey of Alberta highlights that self-reliance and protection of loved ones remain the leading motivators for preparedness actions. #BePrepared and self-reliant with the following tips:

• Know the risks in your area and learn steps you can take to prepare for them.
• Start a conversation with loved ones to discuss what you would do in an emergency and how you can plan for it.   
• Get and stay informed by downloading apps from local and provincial authorities that can provide you with timely updates when you need it most.

We all have a role to play. Use Be Prepared programming and resources to learn more about what you can do in your home and community to protect you and your loved ones when you need it most.
