Agricultural Producer - We Want Your Input

The 2022 Ag Services Townhalls are designed to get input from Saddle Hills County agricultural producers about our potential programs, services, and outreach offerings (webinars, courses, etc.).

For those unable to attend the Townhalls, we have published the 2022 Ag Services Townhall Outreach Survey. This survey will be available in hard copy format at the Townhalls or you can ask for a fillable pdf version of the survey from communications@saddlehills.ab.ca.

The survey is aimed at active livestock producers, grain farmers and mixed farming operations. Questions range from the animals which livestock producers are raising and the size of their herds to the number of acres devoted to grain and/or livestock followed by more detailed questions about the kinds of programs producers would like the Ag Services Department to offer.

Suggested programs include programs relating to livestock, secondary agriculture, technology, research, and food security. In the survey, producers are provided with over 20 options of programs to choose from as well as the opportunity to suggest other programs/services they would like to see offered by the County.

Producers unable to attend the Townhalls can access the survey on the County website or request a fillable pdf version.
