2024 Photo Contest Public Judging - Now Open!

The public voting for the 2024 Photo Contest is now open! 

This year, we asked participants to show us what they love most about recreation in the Peace Country. Be it summers on the lake, camping, fishing, snowshoeing, festivals, parades, or events, we asked for it all!

Entries have now finished coming in and, as always, we are enthralled by the talent in our little corner of the world.

To have your say, head to @shcphotocontest on Facebook or Instagram and 'like' your favourite images.

As a reminder:

There will be prizes awarded in both Public and Judges' Choice (12 prizes total)

1st Place: $150 | 2nd Place: $100 | 3rd Place: $75 

There will also be a Grand Prize for the overall winner (top ranked in both Public and Judge's Choice), of a large, framed copy of the winning image. The overall winner will also be asked to participate as a judge in the 2025 Photo Contest.

A selection of winning images will also be featured in the 2025 Saddle Hills County Calendar.

Public judging will be determined by the number of 'likes' each image receives, by combining the numbers from both social media pages. 

Voting will remain open until September 30, 2024. 

After public voting is complete, the judges will get the chance to have their say, and a public presentation and viewing will be organized to announce the winners. Stay tuned!
