A reminder to ratepayers that the final penalty deadline for 2024 property taxes, was December 31, 2024. As of January 1, 2025, a 6% penalty has been placed on the total of any outstanding amount. 

We are now accepting applications from community groups, clubs, organizations, and schools for Program and Activity Grants. Applications are accepted for a wide range of activities and age groups. 

A reminder to residents eligible for the County's Remote Potable Water Hauling Subsidy in 2024, that the deadline to submit receipts is January 31, 2025.

Are you, or do you know, an enterprising Grade 12 student looking to launch their own business post-graduation? Community Futures Peace Country is offering a $1000 Entrepreneurship Bursary to help make those dreams come true.

Council has approved the Interim Operating and Capital Budget for 2025, and this is now available to view online.

Please note, that even during mail disruptions, ratepayers are still responsible for paying their utility bills and tax notices on time. 

New Saddle Hills County Assessor, Aaron Steblyk, and his partner Brady Harder, with Compass Assessment Consultants Inc., will be hitting County roads this week.

Saddle Hills County has appointed Aaron Steblyk with Compass Assessment as the new Assessor for Saddle Hills County. We are currently making some changes to the delivery of Assessment Services in the County and thank you for your continued patience and cooperation as we navigate this transition period. More information will be provided, as available. 

Saddle Hills County is now accepting applications for the Cemetery Capital Grant Program. This new program is intended to provide funding to cemeteries located within Saddle Hills County for capital projects, such as repairs to existing grounds and facilities or new construction on the grounds.
