    New Saddle Hills County Assessor, Aaron Steblyk, and his partner Brady Harder, with Compass Assessment Consultants Inc., will be hitting County roads this week.

    Saddle Hills County has appointed Aaron Steblyk with Compass Assessment as the new Assessor for Saddle Hills County. We are currently making some changes to the delivery of Assessment Services in the County and thank you for your continued patience and cooperation as we navigate this transition period.   • New Grant Stream - Cemetery Capital Grant Applications Now Open!

    Saddle Hills County is now accepting applications for the Cemetery Capital Grant Program. This new program is intended to provide funding to cemeteries located within Saddle Hills County for capital projects, such as repairs to existing grounds and facilities or new construction on the grounds.

    Saddle Hills County is now accepting applications for the 2025 FCSS Grant Program.

    Ensuring the future of Saddle Hills County and its residents has been one of Council’s goals for many years. From things like ensuring the long-term viability of our roads and infrastructure to the success of our youth and, most recently, finding new solutions to rural healthcare and internet access, providing reliable long-term solutions to access important resources like water is just another way Saddle Hills County, with the help of our G5 neighbours, is hoping to support the ongoing economic growth and sustainability of the Peace Region community. 

  • Capital, Operating, Community Signs, and Cemetery Grants - Now Open!

    Saddle Hills County is now accepting applications for 2025 Capital, Operating, Community Signs, and Cemetery Grants. Please note, that funding for eligible Operating Grants has increased from 75% to 85%. 

  • Program and Activity Grants - Now Open!

    We are now accepting applications from community groups, clubs, organizations, and schools for Program and Activity Grants. The application deadline is September 30, 2024.

  • Tax Payment Deadline Passed

    Please note, that the deadline for the 2024 property taxes, July 31, has now passed. As of August 1, 2024, a 6% penalty has been applied to the current year’s outstanding tax balance.

  • It's the Summer of Love for Alberta's Non-Profits

    This summer, through Crowdfunding Alberta, Albertans can donate to, or raise money for, a cause they care about.
