    Grain Bag and Twine Recycling - Now Available!

    Recycling grain bags and twine just got easier through the Alberta Ag-Plastic. Recycle it! program

    Grain bag and twine recycling is now available as part of the Alberta Ag-Plastic. Recycle it! three-year pilot program aimed at establishing an environmentally sustainable program to recycle agricultural plastics.

  • Cleanfarms 2022 - Unwanted Pesticide and Livestock Medication Collection

    Cleanfarms teams will be in Northern Alberta and the British Columbia/Alberta Peace Region in early October 2022. They'll be collecting unwanted agricultural pesticides and old livestock/equine medications for safe disposal at specific locations on certain dates.

    Please Help Us Keep Our County Clean

    Saddle Hills County operates a series of Transfer Stations and Collection Sites throughout the County. Each of our Transfer Stations has collection bins outside of the gates to accommodate residents who cannot visit the Transfer Station during its regular operating hours. All of our Collection Bins and Sites are available 24-7.
