More than 34 people attended Council's first Open House of the year at the Woking Community Hall on Tuesday, February 12.

Councillor John Moen greeted everyone and encouraged them to meet, discuss and ask questions of staff and Councillors during the event.

Representatives were on hand from Operations - to answer questions on roads, water and sewer - as well as Community Development, Planning and Information Systems, and Community and Protective Services.

Residents were able to view and discuss presentations on the proposed Woking fire hall; upgrades to the Woking lift station; roads and infrastructure; modern communications; community programs and the County's Public Service Request (PSR) system.

Saddle Hills Council has several more Open Houses planned for the year in its ongoing commitment to openness, accountability and transparency.
