FCSS Seeking Caregiver Volunteer Facilitator
Posted on 04/12/2017

Saddle Hills County FCSS is looking for one committed and dedicated resident to become a COMPASS for the Caregiver” Facillitator.

Caregiving can be a stressful, isolating, and overwhelming experience. It can have a negative impact on the caregiver’s physical and mental health. COMPASS helps caregivers balance their own well-being with the challenges of caregiving.

COMPASS is a 9-module program facilitated by someone who understands how difficult caregiving can be. We discuss dealing with guilt and grief, managing stress, improving communication, navigating the system and planning for the journey ahead. A complete list of the module topics is available here.

After completing the training and being designated a facilitator, you can deliver COMPASS in your community or facility.
