Volunteer Fire Departments
We have five Volunteer Fire Departments located throughout Saddle Hills County, manned by a dedicated team of over 100 Volunteer Firefighters and Medical First Responders.
Our Fire Departments are located in Blueberry, Bonanza, Happy Valley, Savanna, and Woking to ensure that the County is protected from the most strategic and convenient locations. We also have an agreement with the Tomslake, B.C. Fire Department to provide fire protection in the Gundy, AB. area of the County.
If you are interested in becoming a Volunteer Firefighter, please complete a Fire Services Application for Membership either online or at the County Office.
For more information on the services provided, please read our Volunteer Firefighters and Medical First Responders Level of Service Policy, or contact the Protective Services Department at ProtSrvcs@saddlehills.ab.ca or call (780) 864-3760.
