Public Members Needed

The Central Peace Assessment Review Board hears assessment complaints made by taxpayers of the Central Peace Region and makes decisions under the provisions of the Municipal Government Act (MGA). All members of the Board will hold office for a three-year period and may be re-appointed.

The Board meets as required to hear appeals. All members must take mandatory training as per the MGA, which is provided at the County’s expense.

Please indicate your interest in being a member of the Central Peace Assessment Review Board for Saddle Hills County by emailing Tracy Lapping at: admin@saddlehills.ab.ca or using the contact information at the bottom of this page by 4:30 pm, February 26, 2018.

Rural Potable Water Agreements

The possibility of providing potable water, delivered directly to property owners, is being investigated and considered as an option for the future of Saddle Hills County.

Saddle Hills County has announced four Open Houses to be held throughout the County during the month of March for feedback on the County’s Municipal Development Plan (MDP) and Land Use Bylaw (LUB).
