In an effort to increase local tourism and encourage residents of the County to get out, explore and discover our beautiful County, Saddle Hills County is sponsoring the 2018 Visit Our Own Back Yard promotion.

Please Register by June 11th

Registration and waiver forms are available at each of the greenhouses or at the County office.
In order to participate all you need is to be a resident of the County and have a patch of garden on your property Please register with the County by June11th and provide 'before' photos of the patch of garden/property you are improving. 

Rural Potable Water Sign Up

Saddle Hills County Council is proceeding with the Bonanza – Bay Tree Rural Potable Water Project (Phase 1) and is in the early planning stages for possible future expansion of the rural potable water system.

Please contact the County office (780-864-3760) to obtain a copy of the Rural Water Servicing Policy & Agreement.

Flooding

Saddle Hills County will be submitting an application to the Province of Alberta for a Disaster Recovery Program (DRP).

As part of the application process, the County has been asked to provide an estimate of damage to the County's infrastructure and an estimate of the number of private properties that experienced damage as a result of the overland flooding in late April 2018.

Public Service Request System Issues

The County is experiencing some difficulties with its Public Service Request System. Users are currently unable to create a new account using a mobile device. We are working on a solution to this issue. Until we resolve it please use a computer or laptop if you are setting up a new account or call the County office at 780-864-3760.
